Felder Rushing will be at the Carthage-Leake County Library on Thursday, May 16 at 6:00 p.m. He will present a program called “Low-Input Slow Gardening – All Senses, All Seasons …” Felder will cover growing easy flowers, veggies, and herbs in all sorts of containers and raised beds, plus no-fuss lawn care and choosing indestructible shrubs and perennials. There will be lots of time for Q&A, too!

Felder Rushing, longtime Mississippi garden columnist and host of MPB’s weekly Gestalt Garden program and HGTV’s original Q&A guy, is the author of 18 books and countless magazine articles. He was named by Southern Living Magazine as one of “25 people most likely to change the South.” When not lecturing across Mississippi and coast to coast, he splits his time between a celebrated cottage garden in Jackson and a terrace herb garden in northern England.

This program is sponsored by the Carthage Friends of the Library and the Dogwood Trail Garden Club.
