A man was rescued from a submerged vehicle in Neshoba County.

Officers responded to a three vehicle accident on Road 375 in front of Williamsville around 10 am Monday.

A vehicle left the roadway during the accident going down the embankment and into the water.

Neshoba County Sheriff Tommy Waddell said the owner of the vehicle was rescued by a worker at D&W Tire.

“The man from D&W jumped in and broke the sunroof of the vehicle and pulled the driver to safety,” said Waddell.

Emergency crews arrived on scene to a fully submerged vehicle. Neshoba EMS and Rescue treated the driver.

No injuries were reported.
