The Justa Cowboy Association’s Annual Philadelphia Black Rodeo is at the Neshoba County Coliseum this weekend.

“I’m always excited to come to Philadelphia because of the warmth we get from the people here. It’s very important to come here, because there is just awesome people in the city of Philadelphia,” says Justa Cowboy Association Vice-President Andy Wade.

Wade says the show will feature multiple events, including bull riding, barrel racing, team roping and a special live performance by singer Tyree Neal.

“We set it up to entertain the entire family. Also it’s a great place to come just for entertainment. You’re going to be on the edge of your seat for the entire show. We’re going to keep it exciting from beginning to end,” says Wade.

Isaac King, who is a member of the Justa Cowboy Association says over 200 cowboys are expected to compete for a cash prize.

“We’ve got a ton of cowboys coming from all over. Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi. We’ve also got some hometown cowboys that are going to represent Philadelphia,” says King.

Tickets are available throughout the community and at the door Saturday. Doors open at 6:00 and the show starts at 7:30. For more information, check out the Justa Cowboy Association Facebook page.
