Deer Causes Early Morning Crash in Leake

12:34 a.m. – Leake County Deputies responded to a call reporting a one-vehicle crash on Highway 16 East near Midway Road. The accident happened when the vehicle struck a deer. There were no injuries.

2:23 p.m. – Leake County Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Singleton Road regarding a break-in.

7:51 p.m. – Leake County Deputies were called to a residence on Coosa Road in response to reports of a domestic disturbance in progress there.

9:28 p.m. – Thomastown Volunteers and Ofahoma Volunteers were called to a woods fire on Red Dog Road near Fox Hill Road. Firemen were able to quickly get the flames under control.
