It was a clean sweep for the Leake Academy basketball teams against East Ranking Academy Friday night in Pelahatchie.
The Lady Rebels took a commanding lead in the night’s opening game, taking a 17-point lead into halftime.
The team continued to dominate in the second half and went on to win by a score of 69-24.
In the boy’s game, the Rebels found themselves down by 4 at the end of the first quarter, but would put it together in the 2nd quarter to take a 4-point lead into halftime.
Throughout the second half, the Rebels were able to pull away from the Patriots, with the game ending on a final score of 57-40.
