12:03 am – Leake Dispatch was called for a suspicious person looking in vehicles at a residence on Pleasant Hill Rd.

1:00 am – Dispatch notified SO of another suspicious subject on Horseshoe Rd.

6:45 am – Leake SO was notified from Attala SO that a vehicle on Hwy 429 had called in that they had hit a deer.

1:26 pm – Carthage Fire Department was called to Presley Rd for a grass fire that was out of control. The scene was cleared at 1:36 pm

4:03 p.m. – Leake County Deputies responded to a call reporting a disturbance between neighbors on Johnson Town Road in the Walnut Grove area.

4:32 p.m. – Carthage Police responded to a minor two-vehicle accident in the turn lane at Walmart on Highway 16 West. No injuries were reported.

4:40 p.m. – Leake County Deputies were called again to Johnson Town Road for a resident trespassing on their neighbor’s property.

6:47 p.m. – Carthage Fire Department and Carthage Volunteers responded to a call reporting a woods fire on Presley Road near the intersection of Chipley Road.
