Travelers on Hwy 43 south may have gotten a fire show during their morning commute Friday.
A scheduled pipeline blowdown filled the sky with flames near the Attala – Leake County line.
Blowdowns are scheduled maintenance on a pipeline where gas is released so work can be done safely on the gas line
