The Lighting of Trustmark Park and Downtown Carthage is today.
Festivities will begin at 5 pm with live local performances, food trucks, train rides, and games. There will be a special appearance from The Grinch.
The reading of the Christmas Tree Story will be at 6:30 pm, and Todd Tilghman will perform live at 6:45 pm.
