A local baseball team brought home a championship over the weekend.
The 7U Redbud Rowdies won the GrandSlam State Championship, defeating the Starkville Strikers 14-2 in the final game on Sunday in Pearl.
The team is coached by Luke Gardner, Robbie Horne, Austin Taylor, John Reuben Cox, and Bobby Taylor.
