CARTHAGE, Miss.–A fight happened Saturday night about 8:30 on Kelly Town Rd., south of Carthage.
Once deputies were dispatched they got another call from dispatch saying the fight had escalated and now involved multiple families.
An ambulance was also dispatched.
A woman told dispatch that she had been hit in the head but did not want an ambulance.
The investigating deputy took statements from the people involved in the fight at the scene and then went to the hospital in Carthage to talk with the people involved who had to be treated.
It did not appear that there were any serious injuries.
