Aggressive Bull Gets Loose Northeast of Carthage

CARTHAGE, Miss.–A bull got loose northeast of Carthage Saturday night, giving a landowner a lot of trouble.

The bull was loose on Stewart Rd., according to police radio traffic.

The call came into dispatch at 8 p.m. The person calling said the bull had torn up a fence and charged him when he tried to do something about it.

The man told dispatchers he called the person to whom the bull belongs, but that person refused to help.

A deputy radioed back and said he was able to talk to the owner and get him to handle the bull.
