CARTHAGE, Miss.–Someone may have tried to pass off fake money at a Carthage service station Friday. Police were on the lookout for the people who came in with that money, with an officer believing he had spotted them Saturday afternoon.
Police have not yet provided details about what happened at Fair Market Gas on Hwy. 35 north.
Saturday just before 1 p.m., a Carthage officer notified his supervisor via police radio that he believed he had spotted the people believed to have had the fake money.
It was unclear if an arrest was made.
