Multiple Crashes Reported Tuesday in Neshoba

Emergency responders in Neshoba and Philadelphia were called to a series of crashes on Tuesday afternoon.

Neshoba County Deputies, EMS, and Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a one-vehicle crash on Hwy 19 S, where a vehicle left the road, hit a concrete drain, and then returned to the shoulder. The passenger was taken to the hospital by EMS.

Nearby on Hwy 19, a semi and a garbage truck collided, causing minor injuries. Clean-up crews worked for hours due to a gas and oil spill on the roadway.

Philadelphia Police were dispatched a two-vehicle crash near W Beacon St. and Front St., where one car blocked the roadway. No injuries were reported.
