A fire destroyed an unoccupied house on Old Ridge Road today.
When firefighters arrived, the home was fully engulfed in flames, threatening a nearby mobile home and vehicles.
Crews from the Carthage Fire Department and Reformation Volunteers responded, working to contain and extinguish the blaze.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is unclear.
