A woman was arrested late Monday evening after she attacked another woman with a golf club in Philadelphia.
Philadelphia police responded to a disturbance call Monday evening at Reunion Court Apartments on Frog Level Rd. involving two women.
Andrika Carter, 24, reportedly struck another woman with a golf club, causing injuries that required hospital treatment and stitches. During the altercation, a young child was also struck but did not sustain serious injuries.
Carter was arrested and charged with aggravated assault – use of a deadly weapon, felonious child abuse, and simple assault – causing bodily injury. She is currently being held at the Leake County Correctional Facility, and authorities are investigating the incident.
