Just before 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20, deputies were dispatched to Pendleton Square Apartments after multiple reports of gunfire. No injuries were reported, and an investigation is ongoing.
At 6:15 p.m., deputies responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash on County Road 525 at Highway 19. The driver, who reportedly struck a deer, was unharmed.
Later, at 10:20 p.m., emergency crews including the Neshoba deputies, Philadelphia Fire Department, and Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 19 S near Frank Simpson Road. One vehicle landed on its side while the other was reportedly smoking. Firefighters extricated occupants from the overturned vehicle, but no injuries were reported.
