Carthage Police and Leake County Deputies responded to a domestic dispute at The Elms Apartments on Old Canton Road on Sunday, March 9, at 9:45 p.m.
A female called authorities, reporting that her boyfriend, Jamie Moore Jr., had assaulted her.
Officers took Moore into custody, and he was transported to the Leake County Correctional Facility.
