We’re learning more about a couple of the tornadoes that went through this part of Mississippi last weekend. Even though the National Weather Service hasn’t finished its report, it says the EF-2 storm that hit Humphreys, Leflore, Holmes and Carroll counties was packing winds up to 125 miles an hour and was on the ground for more than 34 miles. Another EF-2 that moved through Carroll, Montgomery and Grenada counties was slightly stronger with top winds of 130 miles an hour but was shorter with a track length of about 24 miles.
