CARTHAGE, Miss.–Carthage Police and Leake Couny deputies chased a Chevy Express that ran a red light at highway 16 and 35, causing a crash. That was shortly after 10:30 Saturday morning.
The vehicle continued on Hwy 35 south at speeds of 85 mph through Walnut Grove.
Deputies chased the car into Scott County. Authorities there were notified.
It was unclear if the Express was stopped.
