Prank Call Prompts Response from Law Enforcement at Leake Central High School

Leake Central High School reported in a Facebook post (pictured below) that on Monday, August 11, just after 9 a.m., a prank call was made to Leake County Communications.

The incident prompted an immediate response from school officials, the Carthage Police Department, and the Leake County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities quickly investigated and confirmed the safety of all students and staff.

Following a thorough inspection, the campus was declared clear and safe.
