CARTHAGE, Miss.–Both Carthage Police and Leake County deputies were involved in a short police chase Saturday night.
They were chasing a car that did not stop for police.
The chase was down Hwy. 16 and ended behind Walmart with the person in custody.
The person who was the subject of the chase may have been injured. Shortly after the chase ended, an ambulance was called and took the person to the emrgency room.
The chase lasted about four minutes, beginning at 10:32 p.m.
