The Leake Academy Varsity Teams were in action this afternoon at the Neshoba Classic playing Choctaw Central. The Lady Rebels won their game against the Lady Warriors by 5 points, 55-50. Sarah Prince was named the player of the game for Leake Academy.
In the men’s game, the Choctaw Central Warriors held a two point lead at halftime, 29-27. In the Second half the game was tied 38-38 after the third quarter but the Warriors pulled away in the final quarter to win the contest by 16 points, 56-40.
Our next broadcast of Leake Academy Rebels varsity basketball on Cruisin 98 will be tomorrow afternoon beginning about 1:40pm when the Lady Rebels faceoff against the Lady Braves from Tishomingo County High School.
