UPDATE: The standoff was resolved early Sunday morning, according to a post from the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians Law Enforcement.
The person involved was taken into custody and was booked into jail in Winston County.
No injuries were reported. No names had been made public as of Sunday morning.

A law enforcement standoff was ongoing Saturday evening in the Crystal Ridge Community of Winston County following reports of a stolen shotgun and shots fired, according to the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians Department of Public Safety.
Choctaw Police responded to a trailer on Murry Fulton Road after receiving multiple reports related to the incident. Authorities said the individual inside the trailer refused to cooperate with officers, leading to the standoff.
Choctaw Police were joined on scene by the Winston County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Officials said no shots have been fired at law enforcement, and no injuries have been reported.
Authorities said communication has been established with the individual, and they remain hopeful for a peaceful resolution.
