The Leake Academy boys and girls basketball teams are set to continue their postseason run this week as they compete in the MAIS 3A State Tournament.
Both teams will take the court Thursday, Feb. 12 at Kirk Academy in Grenada, with spots in the state championship game on the line.
The Leake Academy girls team will open tournament play against Columbia Academy at 4:00 p.m. The boys team will follow with a matchup against Christ Collegiate at 5:15 p.m.
Winners of each game will advance to the MAIS 3A championship game, while the losing teams will move on to compete in the consolation game.
All tournament games will be played at Kirk Academy in Grenada
Fans can follow the action live on the radio on WKOZ-FM Cruisin’ 98.3, with video coverage streaming on the Boswell Media Sports YouTube Channel. Phillip Palmertree will provide play-by-play for both contests.
