MORTON, Miss.–A shooting in Scott County is responsible for the death of one person late Friday night, reported Darkhouse Press.
The shooting happened in the city limits of Morton on Hwy. 481.
Neither the Morton Police Dept. nor the Scott County Sheriff’s Office named the person who died in the shooting. Darkhouse Press reported the victim was a man.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting have not been discussed publicly by investigators.
