THOMASTOWN, Miss.–A woman called Leake County dispatchers Saturday afternoon about 4:15 and reported that a small child had been hit.
The caller said the child was running around in the parking lot of the Thomastown Community Center on Hwy. 43 and was hit by a car that pulled in.
The woman did not believe the chgild was hurt badly but the child was being taken to the hospital.
That was not confirmed by law enforcemtn.
