ATTALA COUNTY, MS — The Attala County Farmers Market is preparing to open its new season with a kickoff meeting for local growers, producers, and artisans. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 31, at 10:00 a.m. at the MSU Extension Office.
The market welcomes vegetable and fruit growers, gardeners, home cooks, bakers, canners, craftspeople, fishermen, and producers of meat, dairy, and eggs. Current members will have the opportunity to renew their membership, which remains $25 for a full year or $5 per day for casual participants.
