Police, Deputies Chase Car Through Kosciusko

KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–Attala County deputies chased a white Chrysler through the city and out into the county Saturday afternoon.

The chase began about 1 p.m. on Smythe St., went by First Presbyterian Church, where the suspect turned. The chase ended up on Huntington, when Kosciusko Police were notified.

The suspect car then headed south on Hwy. 35.

The chase went into Leake County with speeds reaching 80 mph. The chase went onto County Line Rd., then Hwy. 25, with Leake County deputies attempting to help intercept.

Speeds reached more than 100 mph. The chase eventually went nto Winston County with speeds reaching 120. The chase went into Neshoba County on Hwy. 19.

About 2:15 police activity was reported near Munson’s Crossing. That may have been from the same incident.

It was unclear of the suspect was caught. Boswell Media is reaching out to law enforcement to find out how the chase ended.

The suspect may have been wanted on some back warrants.

    They came down Casey Cir around 100 mph
