The Leake Academy varsity baseball team returned to Madden to play game two of their series with the Winston Academy Patriots from Louisville. The Rebels won the first game Tuesday in Louisville in 9 innings 5-4. Tonight’s game would also be tied at the end of 7 innings, 5-5 sending it into extra innings as well. The Patriots came to life in the top of the 8th inning scoring 3 runs to go ahead 8-5 and then held the Rebels scoreless in the bottom of the inning to win the contest. Our next scheduled broadcast of Leake Academy Rebels baseball on Cruisin 98 will be Tuesday , April 21st at 6:00pm when Washington Academy travels to Madden to play the Rebels.
