The average price of gas in Mississippi, after falling slightly for four days in a row, has leveled off at just under $3.75 this morning. AAA says that’s about three cents lower than the peak price last week. And the auto club says some of the least expensive gas can still be found in Leake County, where the countywide average price is the second-lowest in the state, behind only Pearl River County. AAA says the average price in Leake County is around $3.61, but GasBuddy.com says you can fill up in Carthage for as little as $3.35. The average price in Neshoba County is almost $3.72 and is around $3.83 in both Attala and Holmes counties. The lowest price Gas Buddy has found in Philadelphia is $3.57, in Durant $3.64 and in Kosciusko, $3.79.
