Deputy Ben Davidson has been named Leake County’s Top Cop, an honor announced at the Mississippi Crime Stoppers Award Banquet.
Davidson was selected by Sheriff Randy Atkinson and leadership within the Leake County Sheriff’s Office. Those who work alongside him say he sets a high standard for professionalism and discipline and is known for being both fair and firm.
The LCSO says Davidson has made it his mission to tackle drug and property crime in Leake County, but while he’s tough on crime, he’s also known for treating people with respect and kindness when given the opportunity.
