Authorities in Philadelphia have made multiple arrests following an armed robbery at an apartment complex and a separate stolen vehicle investigation. Some of the teens arrested are suspects in both cases.

According to PPD Chief Eric Lyons, officers responded to Reunion Court Apartments on May 1 for an armed robbery. At approximately 8 p.m., several masked males who were reportedly armed with guns forced their way inside an apartment after beating and banging on the door.

Authorities said two males inside the apartment retreated to a back bedroom as the suspects entered. The armed individuals left shortly afterward, and nothing was reported stolen. Investigators later determined the incident was a planned robbery that did not go as planned.
