A stabbing was reported on Red Hills Road on the Choctaw Indian Reservation in Leake County Friday afternoon.
According to initial reports, the incident happened around 2:30 p.m. when a boyfriend allegedly stabbed his girlfriend.
Choctaw Police, Carthage Police, and EMS were dispatched. Carthage officers were first to the scene, but returned to service when Choctaw Police arrived and took over the investigation.
The condition of the victim and the severity of the injuries is currently unknown. We will update you here when more information is available.
