CARTHAGE, Miss.–After several hours dealing with cows out on Hwy. 35 near the Twin City area, Leake County deputies were called about two wild hogs.
The cows were reported out just before 9 a.m. A deputy rounded them up and helped get them back where they belonged. But, the cows were reported out again just a short time later.
At 10:17 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to Waggoner Rd. on a call about two wild hogs roaming.
The hogs were not being aggressive and just before 11 a.m. the deputy who had been sent to check on the situation reported the hogs had run off into the woods.
The cows had also again been pastured.
