The Leake County Wildlife Extravaganza & Big Buck Contest will be held Tuesday, September 29. There will be food, prizes, contests, vendors, and special guest Robin Risher, also known as “Brother Blink.”
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Adult admission is $10 and includes a grilled chicken plate. Admission for children ages 10 and under is $5 and includes a hot dog plate. Children may receive a chicken plate but must pay adult admission.
Big Buck Contest entries will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Friday, September 25. Those entering the contest will have their name entered into a drawing for a pallet of corn donated by Rosebud General Store.
The event will also feature a gun raffle, a draw down, and door prizes. One raffle ticket is included with paid admission, and additional tickets are available for purchase at the event.
Vendor applications are due by noon on September 23.
