LENA, Miss.–The person who was killed in a Sunday morning crash between two boats on the Ross Barnett Reservoir has been identified as Madison Alford, 23, of Lena.
The wreck happened on thge Rankin County side of the Leake-Rankin line in the Goshen Springs area, about 1:30 Sunday morning, according to Reservoir Police.
They have now charged the drivers of both boats with operating the boats while intoxicated. They have been identified as Nelson Jimenez and Nathan Rhinewalt.
Seven people were involved in the wreck and only two were not hurt.
