Two Flags have made the finals. Flag Commissioners made the decision after hanging the five finalists on flag poles. One of the flags includes the magnolia blossom and the other bears a sheild. The final decision will be made next week and will be on the general election ballot on November 3rd.
The previous flag was retired in late June after a vote by Mississippi legislators.
