Wreck Involving 18-Wheeler Saturday Afternoon

CARTHAGE, Miss.--A two-car wreck was reported about 1:45 Saturday afternoon on Hwy. 35 south. The wreck was in front of Pleasant Hill Church of God. No injuries were reported with the wreck, which involved a car and the semi.

Fire Reported Friday Near Madden

MADDEN, Miss.--A fire that started on someone's stove was reported Friday just after 8 p.m. near Madden. The fire was at a house on Madden Rd. Madden and Edinburg volunteer firefighters responded and had the fire out quickly. Mo one was reported injured.
