MEMA issues warning about a scam
The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency has issued a warning about an ongoing scam.
In a Facebook post, the agency said scammers are claiming that FEMA is giving out $800 vouchers for disaster assistance.

Mississippi Lottery adds $75M to state revenue since July
Mississippi has collected more than $75 million since July 1 from the state lottery.
State law specifies that the first $80 million collected each budget year will go toward highway construction and maintenance, and the next $80 million will go to education.

Portions of Natchez Trace Parkway closed
The Natchez Trace Parkway is closed from Mileposts 0 to 152, 355 to 370, and 429 to 442 due to severe weather and icy conditions. Additional closures are anticipated as the severe weather moves along the Parkway.
