Vehicle Hits Riding Horses and Another Vehicle at Leake-Neshoba County Line
On Monday at 5:32pm, officers were dispatched to Zion Road near High Hill Baptist Church for a two-vehicle MVA involving horses. The initial caller said that they hit horses and then another vehicle. EMS was dispatched for multiple injuries for children riding the horses.

Another Monkeypox Case in Area Health District
A fifth case of monkeypox in the public health district which includes Attala County. The State Health Department isn’t saying which of the nine counties in the district is reporting that case. Statewide, there’ve been 79 cases of monkeypox.
