Big Truck on Fire on 35 Friday Morning

On Friday at 7:02am, there was a report of an eighteen wheeler on fire on Hwy 35 just north of Hwy 25.  EMS and Fire responded.  One person was transported to Baptist Leake.

Domestic Disturbance Near Thomastown

On Thursday at 7:54pm, officers were requested to a residence on Deerfield Road for a person threatening family members.  Arriving on scene, officers found the person had forced his way into the house.  He was shortly taken into custody on outstanding warrants.

Disturbances in Carthage

On Wednesday at 1:47pm, officers were dispatched to Westbrook Apartments for a report of fighting. At 5:47pm, CPD was requested to Baptist-Leake ER for a disorderly patient. At 8:19pm, officers were requested to a trailer park on Old Canton Road for a disturbance in progress.
