CARTHAGE, Miss.–A neighbor on Old Robinson Rd., just west of Carthage, called Leake County deputies Saturday night about 8:30, saying the neighbors were in a fight. A short while later the people actually involved in the fight called.
A woman said her son was jumping on everyone and that she had locked herself in the bathroom.
The resolution was unclear from police radio traffic.
At the same time.
A woman called with a separate incident on Midway Rd., while deputies were working that call and said that her 23-year-old son and his 30-year-old girlfriend had been in a serious spat and that she had them in her car and was requesting help from a deputy.
When deputies got there the girlfriend had gotten her a room in Carthage and was going to stay there for the night to cool off.
