CARTHAGE, Miss.–At least two cars were reported off the road becaise of Saturday morning’s rainy weather.
Both were just after 7 a.m.
One was on Hwy. 25 when a Dodge Charger hydroplaned and went into the median on Hwy. 25 near Drysdale Rd. That person was not reported hurt, but had to have a wrecker to pull the car out.
Another was on Hwy. 35 near Estes Mill Rd. The driver reported slifing off the road and getting stuck. No one was reported hurt.
A woman called 911 about 1:15 Saturday afternoon, saying she had hydroplaned and left the road on Spinout Rd. Thatwoman was not hurt.
There were also numerous reports of trees down on county roads and highways.
