CARTHAGE, Miss.–Speeds reached 90 mph during a police chase in Carthage early Saturday.
A Carthage Police officer could be heard just before 3 a.m. saying he was chasing a Chrysler 300 at 12th St. and College, and that speeds had reached 75 mph.
Shortly after that he reported speeds had reached 90 mph on Pearl St.
Less than a minute later he reported the car had crashed on Pearl St. at Northwoods Circle.
An officer reported there were open containers in the car. An ambulance was requested to check the person out.
