WALNUT GROVE, Miss.–A car hit a tree shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday, injuring a teenager. But, firefighters had a tough time getting to the scene before of onlookers.
The wreck was on Smith Rd. Just before firefighters got there radio communications indicated four-wheelers were blocking up the road. Deputies were dispatched to help clear the road for emergency vehicles.
Once first responders were able to get to the wreck they determined that a 14-year-old girl had been hurt. She was scraped up, but had no obvious signs of broken bones.
There were no other serious injuries reported over the radio.
