A flood warning is in effect. According to the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency, a flood warning is in effect for multiple areas across the state including Tuscolameta Creek in Walnut Grove. The warning remains until Friday evening, June 12th, at 9pm. Flood stage is at 25 feet and the river is expected to crest at 27 feet tonight. When encountering flooded roads, turnaround, don’t drown.
