CARTHAGE, Miss.–Gunshots were believed to have been heard by Leake County deputies in the city limits of Carthage Saturday night.
Deputies reported the shots to city police about 10 p.m. in an area where several shootings have happened and gunshots have been reported frequently.
That was in the area of Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr., and Old Canton Rd.
Police drove around with blue lights on for several minutes and did not find anyone shooting or any victims of gunshots.
