CARTHAGE, Miss.–A hit and run was reported Friday night on Hwy. 487 east in Leake County.
The call came in to the dispatch center just after 7 p.m. and deputies were sent to the scene, which was near Gunner Rd.
The woman who reported the wreck said a pickup truck hit her vehicle from behind, then took off. She was not able to give a description of the truck to law enforcement.
The woman said she was not hurt, but her vehicle was damaged and left sitting half on and half off the road.
