CARTHAGE, Miss.–A woman reported her Nissan Maxima was hit by a blue Monte Carlo Saturday afternoon on Hwy. 16 near Hwy. 25.
The call was around 3 p.m.
The woman who called said the Monte Carlo was occupied by a Black man and woman, and was headed toward Carthage. Carthage Police were notified and waited for the car to get to the city limits. They never saw the car.
The highway patrol and a Leake Co. deputy were sent to meet with the woman. The outcome was unclear.
