LA Lady Rebels Win Advance to State Championship

The Leake Academy Lady Rebels played Hillcrest Academy today in the semi finals of the State 4A Championship series at Hillcrest Academy. The Lady Rebels would win the game by the final score of 52-49 and advance to the state 4A Championship game tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 playing Hartfield Academy. The lady Rebels were up by 9 points at the end of the opening quarter, 17-8 and enjoyed a 10 point lead at halftime, 30-20. The second half of the game was a battle until the final horn sounded. Hillcrest came back to take a 4 point lead in the third quarter, 39-35 setting up a battle for the Lady Rebels to come from behind and win the game by 3 points in the final quarter, 52-49. Kicks96 will broadcast the championship game tomorrow beginning with the pregame at 2:50pm.
